Introduction to Press Release
July 1, 2009 | Retweet

We are proud to announce that we are officially opening up a new section of our website, the Press Release Section. This section is dedicated to giving news directly from Roca Inmovible, whether from the website or from the band. If you followed our website, you will know that we have already established a mini-blog, giving monthly updates regarding us or the website.

So why are we starting a press release? The reason behind this is that the blog is scheduled to be updated when the website is updated at the beginning of the month. However, there are times when events happen within the month that we would like to announce when the moment happens. We could have combined this with the blog but we felt creating a new section would be better.

Due to the similarity between the press release and blog, we will be changing a few things. First off, the blog will now mainly focus on updates toward the website. They will also mention the title of the press release(s) with a link to direct the visitors to the actual press release if any press release were available for that month. Due to this, the blog will still retain its monthly updating schedule. The press release will have no schedule as it will be updated when something happens. Secondly, the blog will continue to follow their schedule of being deleted after ten updates. This is to keep the one page blog from being too crowded. Unlike the blog, the press release updates will be permanent since each update has its own page. For the same reason, there is no limit on how long or short each update is on the press release. Lastly, for those who follow our feed, we will include both the blog and press release. Any updates involving the blog will look like all the previous post. All updates involving the press release will get “PR:” in front of the headline.
